Jay:Yes, but on top of that it can be vary complicated to keep on track without a compass. Each group of dunes looks similar, and its hard to tell which way your going.
*The party wanders for some time*
Kay:Jay, are we lost.
Jay:This is why I don't like to walk through here. Phoenix, can you fly up and maybe spot the way to town?
Phoenix:I'll try.
*Phoenix flies very far up above the party. A blue dot can be spotted on the horizon.*
Phoenix:Jay, there is something else up here. I'm going to see what.
Jay:Be careful.
*Phoenix flies off to intercept the flying creature*

Jamirus:Phoenix, where is Jay?
Phoenix:Not far off, follow me.
*Phoenix and Jamirus fly back to Jay, Kay and Pandora*
Jay:Jamirus! You're back. What did you find.
Jamirus:Nothing helpful, I went to ask Gemon about Gryphus, and he wasn't there.
Jay:Gryphus is a War Gryphon, he was probobly...
Jamirus:Gemon wasn't there.
Jay and Phoenix: WHAT!
Jamirus:Not any trace of him, or any remnants of a dark spell. No burnt symbols or feathers anywhere.
Jay:We have to investigate.
Jamirus:Going now will be foolish. If someone, or something captured him, the three of us won't be able to challenge it. Did you find any info on the others?
Jay:No, we are heading to Carmina Gadalica to find information about an item called "The Key of the Twilight".
